A seasoned veteran with over 30 years property management experience.    Walter Klinger began his real estate career managing residential units in New York City.  From the Big Apple and onto Denver, his path eventually took him to Maryland where he has managed both residential and commercial properties throughout the DC metropolitan area.  

Mr. Klinger is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Maryland, Washington D.C. and Virginia.  He holds his Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) where he served as President (Chapter 92) in 2004.  In 2014, Walter accepted another leadership role as President for the Property Management Association (PMA).  He continues to stay active with IREM, PMA, Community Associations Institute (CAI), and the Apartment & Office Building Association of Metropolitan Washington (AOBA). 

Walter has a proven track record in the industry.  For 17 years, Mr. Klinger worked diligently for the Cafritz family and the Cafritz Foundation, managing their properties throughout the area.  While providing guidance and direction, Mr. Klinger supervised regional marketing efforts, coordinated and worked with development teams for new construction and improved the property financial and maintenance performance by 5-11%.  He has been able to quickly identify key issues which helped him develop and implement positive changes on his properties. 

Walter has been active on the Board of Directors at Potomac Oaks Condominiums from 2004 through 2021.  During that time, he served as Vice President for six years and five years as President.  Throughout his tenure, the condominium saved an average of 5-16% for their contractual services.
